"Milazzo" is part of an on-going series of projects that clearly exhibits DAR's graphic design capabilities. This unique installation had the mural installed as a vaulted ceiling treatment.

Using key common coffee-related images incorporated in the first La Cima artwork, each additional mural is developed by incorporating these elements and new elements to create its own regional flavor. For Milazzo, the customer requested an Italian feel to the art.

Customer requested the use of Italy's flag colors of red, white, green to develop an Italian palette. Integrated key coffeehouse artwork included a latte cup, coffee beans, and french press, with Italian archways, bust, and fountain to create familiar cultural elements.

Text was added to identify Italian cities and cultural elements along with a common coffee quote and reference terms.

A fourth mural in the series for the chain, designated as "Seasons at Winter Park, has already been designed and printed. The design is shown at below right. Installation photos of the actual mural will be posted shortly.

Ravenswood (scroll down please) is the latest in the series. The mural has a "taller" aspect ratio, required to fit its designed floor to ceiling area, than other La Cima images completed previously.
